Traveling with baby? - A portable crib might be the answer

Portable cribs are a fantastic idea if you are looking for a space saving crib. Portable cribs are not as large as regular cribs and when not required they fold flat which enables them to be hidden neatly away under a bed or in a storage area.

Portable cribs are perfect if you do a lot of traveling with your little one. Portable cribs fold easily and will fit in most car trunks making them ideal for those visits to grandmas or those weekend trips away.

If you spend a lot of time in hotels with your baby then it is comforting to know that the crib they are sleeping in is one that you have chosen and meets all the necessary safety standards. Cribs supplied in some hotels may be old and therefore not meet all the current standards. You will probably have less trouble getting your baby to sleep if they are settled into a crib with which they are familiar. Some baby’s tend to become fretful if put into strange cribs.

Portable cribs should not be confused with playpens. Playpens have a larger area that a baby can play in whereas a portable crib is more often used when your baby needs to sleep.

Remember that it is recommended that portable cribs should not be used as a permanent bed as they are not as vigorous for everyday use as regular cribs.
