Stylish Pali Cribs

Back in the early 1900's, Ermenigildo Pali began handcrafting solid wood chairs in his kitchen. Over the years, his business grew from the kitchen, to the backyard, to a shed and out into surrounding parcels of land that were purchased for building. In 1962, the Pali family made the decision to focus exclusively on creating beautifully hand-crafted cribs and furniture for infants and children, and the children’s furniture world welcomed a shining star.

At last count, the Pali family makes 17 different Pali cribs styles, every one of them crafted of solid wood with the kind of styling that is the hallmark of fine Italian furniture for any room in the house. The designs of Pali cribs are sleek, fashionable and very cosmopolitan with nothing 'cutesy' about them. Pali cribs are beautiful pieces of furniture that happen to be created for infants and children.

The attention to detail that makes Pali cribs so beautiful also ensures that every Pali crib meets the highest standards for infant safety. Pali cribs were the first to use a patented 'one hand' release for the crib side which can only be released from the outside of the crib by an adult. They feature hidden castors to make the crib easy to move without sacrificing the beauty of the design.

Most models of Pali cribs are available in several finishes including white, natural, cherry, cognac and hazelnut. All convert to a toddler bed as the child outgrows the crib, and several of the designs convert further as your baby moves from toddler to youth to their teens. The addition of a bed frame and mattress set allows most Pali cribs to become the head and footboards of a full size bed. One particularly unique convertible Pali crib converts to a day bed and then to a sofa with the included chair cushion, back cushions and arm pillows.

The range of styles runs from the exquisitely simple Pali Alexandra crib with under-bed storage drawer to the stunning styling of the Dauphine crib which converts to a junior bed and then a sofa. The Dauphine coordinates with an entire line of bedroom furniture that is sized for a child, but styled with exquisite adult sensibility.

Pali cribs are on the pricey side, but not above what you'd expect to pay for any well-made piece of furniture that will see years of use.
