What size wheels will I need?
The size of the stroller wheel is dependent on how active you are.
If you do a lot of running then the bigger the wheel the better.
Bigger wheels offer a smoother ride over rough terrains. Twenty inch
wheels are popular with joggers, while the 16 inch is a better all
round wheel for both active use and general day-to-day use. If you
don’t intend on using the stroller for active use but like the look
and style of a jogger stroller, then 12 inch will probably suffice.
The smaller the wheels, the easier the stroller is to manipulate
around the shopping centre.
When can I begin to use a jogger stroller?
Jogger strollers are not really suited for newborns or babies under
6 months as babies do not have the neck support to handle rough
terrains effectively.
Do jogger strollers fold?
Yes, most jogger strollers on the market today fold quite neatly to
enable you to store in the trunk of your car. Some jogging strollers
even come with a bag to store the stroller which can be carried over
your shoulder.
How safe are jogger strollers?
Jogging strollers like any other stroller available on the US market
must meet certain safety requirements. When shopping for a jogger
stroller, select one with a five point safety harness for added
safety. It is recommended that jogging strollers not be used for
babies under 6 months.
Can I purchase a jogging stroller for my twins?
Yes, jogging baby jogging strollers are available in double and even
triple styles so there is no excuse not to get the whole family out
and about.
