Strollers with one
seat behind the other are more suited to parents with children at
different ages with the youngest in the back seat and the oldest in
the front who is more eager to look at his or her surroundings,
Strollers with seats
side-by-side are probably better for twins who as they age will both
want to see out the front of the stroller. This of course is really
a personal preference however as some parents prefer strollers that
are not as wide as the side-by-side models and therefore easier to
get into small spaces.
If you like to get out
and about, you can purchase a double jogging stroller. Jogging
strollers are made for rougher terrain with larger wheels, extra
padding and even shock absorbers. These strollers can be used almost
anywhere but are great for those long walks or runs.
Double strollers,
or tandem strollers as they are sometimes called, are perfect for
families with two small babies or toddlers. If both are unable to
walk or if you have one newborn and one toddler that still tires
easily with extensive walking then a double stroller is ideal.
