Whether you are
looking for a crib, cradle or bassinet you will find it online and
with enough detailed information to enable you to choose wisely.
Safety is always a big
concern with baby cribs. You don’t want your baby’s head or arms to
get stuck in the slats nor do you want your baby falling out. Cribs
sold in the US today must meet certain safety guidelines so beware
if you are purchasing a second-hand crib as it may not meet these
standards.
The crib you purchase will be determined by the size and layout of
your nursery. The most traditional style of crib is the rectangular
shape, however, now that you also have the choice of purchasing
corner and round cribs you can be more selective in your choice.
Corner cribs are particularly suited to a room with limited space or
for multiple births. Two or more corner cribs placed together or in
separate corners of the room save space and are easy to access.
Round cribs make a nice change and have the safety advantage of no
corners as well as increased visibility of your baby.
