I have an infant and two older children, ages 8 and 3. We live in a small town with bumpy brick sidewalks. We are near the beach with a bumpy wooden boardwalk. I spend alot of time trekking across grassy, athletic fields, walking on local erands and schlepping books to and from the library.
I decided that I would skip the "lightweight" stroller I'd used in the past because they just didn't perform well or hold up well for our lifestyle. This is my first "jogger" 3 wheel style. After 6 months, I do not regret my decision.
What I love about this stroller:
- fits our infant carseat perfectly and securely.
- steers effortlessly with one hand.
- swivels on a dime.
- rides smooth as silk over the bumpiest terrain, even the huge grassy athletic field, with little effort, my 8yr old can even push it easily.
- comfortable fit and ride for my 3yr old.
- cost - Sears 119.00 on sale with a coupon.
- large basket holds plenty of books, groceries, etc.
- looks sporty, gender neutral, for baby, as well as my husband.
- tall enough for me 5'10" and my husband 6'3".
- 3 deep cups for water, keys, etc. and for baby. (we have removed the steering wheel).
What I've learned to live with...
- heavy weight. I was used to a lightweight stroller. In comparison, this weighs a ton. The weight is not a problem for steering, just for loading into my vehicle.
- bulk. We have a Suburban so space is not an issue, but this would have consumed the trunk of my old Jetta.
- changing a tire. my husband had to do this when I got a flat.
- no hand brake. this stroller can "get away from you" and the foot brakes are a must to use on inclines. |
We Love Our Jeep!!

We LOVE our Jeep Stroller! It's nice and roomy for baby and Mom. The tires make bumps and rough road easy to travel. The front swivel wheel makes it very easy to steer with one hand.
Like other posters, we love that the front basket can catch anything that baby drops.
The harness to buckle baby in is very big, it's loose on my son (who is 1 year, but the size of a 9-month old baby). The stroller itself does not fold compactly, but fits fine in the back of both of our Jeeps.
We had a problem with a bent wheel (our fault - not the strollers). I called Kolcraft and they sent a replacement for free in less than a week.
Caution: This is NOT a jogging stroller! |
Excellent stroller!

| My son received this stroller as a 1st birthday gift from his grandparents since we were not happy with our previous stroller. I love the fact that the seat fully reclines and the harness seems much more secure than many other strollers we looked at. The wheels can handle any type of terrain but operate super-smooth in everyday environments like the park, store, sidewalk, etc. The basket underneath is very large and will hold a lot, it's also positioned so that it catches most things our son throws overboard like sippy cups, toys, etc. My husband loves the ipod/mp3 hook up and uses it frequently on trips to the park. The only negative thing I can say about the stroller is that it is heavy, but the quality and design make that necessary and the pros far outweigh any inconvenience. |
So happy! Everyone is happy!

I can't list all the happy things! Everything, you name it, is great (unless you want a small troller or you really have too much money to spend). We've had strollers much smaller/lighter than this, but this one stroll easier than them. We always wanted to have large wheels. We looked at many jogging strollers, even we don't jog, but the jogging strollers all have seats too reclined. This one isn't perfectly verticle but is good enough. We like the mesh on the sides so it doesn't get too hot in the comming summer. We don't carry a diaper bag anymore because the side pockets are good enough to put a few diapers and wipes (and keys, cereal bars). Before we bought it, we were worried that the ipod function may bring too many wires or attachment (we don't want to play music). But it's all built in inside a small box and doesn't bother us at all.
One last thing, my son keeps undressing his shoes, hats, bottles... The front "cave" under the seat catches all for them for us! What a good design! |

| This stroller is perfect! I looked at many if not all of the "jogging: strollers before I made a decision and also asked around when I see people using one to get their opinion. I decided on this stroller and cant be more happy! It is very spacious and roomy and it was easy to put together and my favorite feature is that the seat slopes down in the front to the childs own little seperate compartment underneath to catch anything that they drop or would want to reach down and get out. The cupholders are nice and big for baby and parent. The extra pockets on the sides are great for a diaper and wipes. I got this for our child who will soon be 2 and we had used a Graco stroller/car seat set combo and it was used hard and ready for something new. I have never had a 3 wheeler and I am very excited about this one! |
